Amber Seminars?

Postby ggbee » Wed Mar 11, 2015 12:19 pm

Has anyone taken them and recommend them? It seems pretty pricey for an online seminar but if it means that I will pass than I'll do it. This is my last test and really want to be done with the ARE's.

Also, their website is not loading for some reason, can someone give me the link? Is anyone else having that problem?

200% worth every penny, dime, nickel you have. I just found out Friday I passed using the online course and studying the diagrams in meeb. I looked over the Kaplan section for the plumbing just to make sure I felt comfortable with that part and that was it. I recommend watching the videos over and over and over again because you will hear or see something new that you may have heard but it didn't sink in. I bought the program all by myself and I don't regret any cent of that $400 lol

took Ermann - excellent in helping you understand the concepts, which is what he preaches. I do not feel, however, that its enough all by itself. (just took exam yesterday. many wtf moments)

I was able to pass without the seminars on my first attempt at BS (I wanted to take them but couldn't afford to), but I did purchase the Amber book. If you would like to take a peek there is a youtube channel with some of his videos. It looks like the electrical video (about 19 minutes) that is posted might be part of the seminar. The Amber book, on the other hand, is not that expensive, you can probably buy a used one for a decent price and I would definitely recommend it.
So, in my opinion, it is possible to pass without purchasing the seminar but if you can afford to pay for them it is probably worth it.

The online seminars are worth every penny. Ermann does a great job of taking a large amount of information and condensing it down to manageable pieces. I went through the videos twice and supplemented them with MEEB. Got my pass letter last Friday. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
