Site Design Vignette - First Attempt (Testing Tomorrow)

Postby xcu » Sun Jun 17, 2018 9:27 am

Please see my design vignette.

Question--I erred on the side of caution here, but is it necessary to be completely clear of the entrance rectangles? I also have my drive turning into the service entrance; I've seen a lot of vignettes on here showing a straight drive perpendicular to the service entrance, ending just beyond the entrance rectangle. That is fine?

Thank you for your comments! First and last chance taking SPD tomorrow... probably should have posted this sooner...

"First Attempt (Testing Tomorrow)"!! WHOA! You are ballsy.

well this actually looks pretty good except for one MAJOR error. The curb cut is too close to the intersection. You need 120' min. I measured it and that's more like 100'

Thank you! That long green sketch line is my 120’ mark from the intersection. Will double check to see if it’s actually 120’. I also realized I probably should have used a C tree instead of a D to block views for my service entrance.

my bad. It is clear of the 120' mark. it just looked short to me.

I'm sure you did great on the test! best of luck!
