Testing tomorrow. a few questions.... do the sketch circles have to cover the entire room and overlap walls? i thought that the lights can be 1-3' away from the walls but not more than 4'. does that apply to all lights or is that based on the light chart? ie. see arch office right and left side. do i need more lights since the circles dont touch the walls? theyre a little over 3' from the wall.

2nd question. how do we determine where to place diffuses and returns? are they just placed throughout the room at will or is there some logic?

How is this looking?

Thanks!

Illegal rigid duct location. Fatal
Architect's office is severely under lit.
Inadequate accent lights and they cannot overlap the grid.
Missing diffuser and grille in the studio.

thanks for the quick feedback sparky. why is the rigid fatal? cant we place the rigid within 2' from the wall ?
as far as lighting goes, if the required spacing for the accents is 4' o.c., if we put them closer wouldnt that mean its overlit?

Ok everything makes sense except how to find out how much those circles are supposed to intersect. Is it a few inches or a few feet or is it just eyeballed? Is it the same throughout accents? What determined the overlap amount? Is the overlap fretted by the radius of circle size?

I have same question about the supply and return diffuser locations. Do them need to be scattered through out the room? or it can be located in one side of the room as the image as shown above.

Thank you for the answer in advance,

No.

Supplies on one side and returns on other is fine.
