Vignette Lighting Layout

Postby jswasey » Sat Nov 11, 2017 7:35 am

I am confused as to the approach for getting the appropriate lighting levels in this vignette. I have not been able to understand the logic behind what is acceptable and what is not while reviewing many of the other posts in this forum. I attached a sketch of my rough lighting layout with sketch circles included. Could someone please explain to if the spacing in the Drafting Studio and Reception is ok, and if so why? It would seem that there's areas that will not be lit to the required 50 ft candles (ie between sketch circles). In that same line of questioning, is the File Room/Samples overlit? I appreciate any comments/help in advance!

Of course you're confused.
Draw the grid first then add lights spaced per diagram.
Circles for anything but accents is a waste of time.
