First Attempt-took forever

Postby spike » Wed Oct 25, 2017 9:55 pm

I test in a weeks time...any comment and feedback is greatly appreciated.
One big question- Can the flex duct have a 90 deg bend or should it be just one straight length?

What Coach said.

Re-read the part about where rigid duct can be placed. You have a fatal error there.
Incorrect spacing for all 2x4 lights.
Lights not centered in the architect' office or conference room.
Missing return in the supply closet.
Poor separation between supply & return in the file room. Min 4' is recommended.
No air movement on the south side of the studio or west side of the architect's office.
2 accent lights overlap grid.
NEVER bend rigid duct inside the riser shaft. Difficult to construct and accomplishes nothing.

Thank you so much Sparky for taking the time to explain and shedding some light. It was very very helpful.
