Hi Shawn,

1. Place Dampers perpendicular to the Supply and Return ducts.
2. Return grilles are unsupported. They need to go along the ceiling grid, supported on at least 3 sides.
3. Connect diffusers with flex-duct , not directly with rigid duct. The south rigid duct in the drafting studio is crossing the diffusers. There are also some rigid ducts crossing return grilles.
4. Try to distribute the supply more evenly, not so close to the walls.
5. Overall lighting seem okay but need improving. Supply closet is overlit, incorrect spacing between the 2x2 lights. Also try not to put the lights too close to the walls (see File Room). Adjust the grid if necessary or just use 2x2 lights, I find them easier to work with.
6. Show sketch circles for the accent lights, it may be underlit.

Good luck and happy studying!

Return grille orientation matches that shown in the sample failing solution. Place them with the long leg parallel to the wall.
Rigid ducts can branch. Adding an extra damper wastes $$$.
Reception is over lit.
Inadequate accent lighting.
Grilles improperly supported in the file room, supply closet, reception, studio and architect's office.
Uneven HVAC layout in the conference room. NO air movement at the center of the east side.
Rigid layout does not provide for flexibility in diffuser locations as required in the program. The is a large area that cannot be reached with a max 10' flex.
