Which is worse on the vignette

Which is worse to do on the vignette if you had to choose among:

1. Severely Overlighting a space
2. Severely Underlighting a space
3. Lighting the space properly but a couple light fixtures are too close to the wall (<1')
4. Lighting the space properly but a couple light fixtures are too close to each other (based on the lighting diagrams)

Or are all of these errors similar in terms of how many points are taken off?

2. Severely Underlighting a space - worse than slightly under lighting.
3. Lighting the space properly but a couple light fixtures are too close to the wall (<1') See above. 1' may not apply depending on the lighting chart they provide.
4. Lighting the space properly but a couple light fixtures are too close to each other (based on the lighting diagrams) Always space properly per the lighting diagrams. You cannot light the room properly with incorrectly spaced lights.

It will never be perfect. The idea is to get as close as you can to the required lighting level. It is likely that you will have to use both 2x2 and 2x4 lights somewhere in the vignette.

Dang. Unfortunately I chose #4 on the exam since the NCARB passing solution shows a couple lights spaced improperly :( Hopefully I did well in other areas to make up for that.
Thanks for your reply!
