1st try on vignette

Postby rocky11 » Wed Aug 02, 2017 2:15 pm

Hi everyone, first shot on this vignette....is there a rule about rigid or flex duct going over lights? Are we to assume they'll clear them?

Any comments are welcome - thank you in advance!

Incorrect spacing for all 2x4 lights.
Lights are not centered in the supply closet.
Uneven HVAC layout in the studio.

Yep, try to center your lights in the supply room. The 2x4s, on the long sides, allow for 6' spacing and 3' at the walls.

Also, NCARBs solution doesn't show ducts attaching to the center of risers. This probably doesn't matter, except that you might be adding unnecessary length to the ducts, and one of the requirements is to be economical.

This is schematic. As long as you connect to the riser, you are good.
