Edit: Failed. Level 2 plumbing and HVAC. Fml. Based on how I felt leaving the exam I wasn't expecteding to score poorly in those sections.
What to do differently?
What I used:
-Amber. I found the videos/animations on thermal and mechanical to be the most helpful. The book is great, however I had a lot of questions that I only knew the answers to because of MEEB and Archiflash. If I have to take this again I need supplemental study material on specialties.
-Ballast. Stopped reading once I started Amber. Got through the first few BS chapters.
-Archiflash. During my commute to work and easy to go through once you hit that stage where you're totally burnt out. After using for all other sections I swear by these.
-MEEB. Skimmed and read according to that .pdf that's floating around here. In hindsight I wish I'd studied the older versions.
-Kaplan quizzes/tests
-Ballast quizzes/tests
Some guy at work told he me passed using only Kaplan. Is it worth the risk only studying that? I didn't find is very helpful for other sections. Should I read Ballast fully next time?
