On walls that are NOT shared between lower & upper floors, is it acceptable to show beams only on uppler level?

I’ve seen only upper floor beams on the forum but on the ARE sample passing solution (lower left corner of building) shows beams on both lower and upper levels for the short section of the wall that is not shared.
