Clerestory critera in 4.0 Structure Vignette

This seems like a stupid question, but I am confused to what ramifications a Clerestory window has on the design of the structures vignette.

1. Is clerestory at the lower level or upper level?

2. does clerestory have to have a beam over top of it-- i.e. a joist will not do?

3. If at higher elevation, is a beam necessary below clerestory window.

Upper.

If joists are perpendicular to clerestory there must be a beam above, but that has nothing to do with clerestory.

3. If at higher elevation, is a beam necessary below clerestory window.

A beam is always required under clerestory.
