In this forum many people suggest not to use bearing walls to solve the vignette since it causes more possible mistakes compared to all column/beam solutions.

On the lower level you are missing these beams:
north side of aerobics (support roof height change and clerestory)
east side or aerobics (support roof height change)
north side of yoga hall (same reason)

If I remember correctly Beams are required in three conditions:
1. under clerestory (north wall of Aerobics Hall, West Wall of Yoga Hall) it is not shown in the plan, it is only said in the program and we have to remember where it is.

2. if the roof height changes, a beam should be shown on the lower level. This supports the edge of the roof

3. to support joists

Thanks Kotharin for your comments
I believe what you describe above is what's been called "the yellow to grey" ie a beam is required whenever a grey area abuts a yellow area. What I'm not sure of is should there be a beam if there is no clerestory window to be supported.
I'm thinking in the absence of a window the wall should continue right up without any interruption ( a beam for instance)
Or am I wrong. Anyone care to clarify.
