Method of Joints or Sections

Postby alexwilkosz24 » Tue Nov 14, 2017 3:11 pm

In trusses which is the better way to know how to solve a truss? Which is better to know for the exam? Which is faster? If you do not know the angle of the truss as in the Dilip's video can you use the method of joints effectively?

THanks

Yeah, I saw where he said he uses the Method of Joints all the time and not sections. I was wondering what the reason behind this, as it pertains to the exam, is?
