Vignette First Attempt-Please Review

Postby brownc13 » Sat Sep 23, 2017 8:53 am

Hi all,
This was my first attempt please review and let me know how it looks.
One question I have is: Do I need the beam on the south west corner of the common area on the first floor. It has no decking over it but I wasn't sure if it was need to carry the load from the upper floor?
Thanks

No need for the beam from the NW corner of shop 2 to the SW corner of the common area.
Draw joists and decking to wall centerlines.
Looks good otherwise.

I'm not sure about this, but is a beam required at the 1st floor SW corner of the Common area, above the door, as brownc13 as shown? I know it is req'd at the 2nd level, but I would think not at the 1st too since the columns can carry the load down.
