Testing tomorrow: NCARB 3.1

Postby PeekaBoo » Sun May 14, 2017 12:15 pm

Hi!

Testing tomorrow and practicing the vignette a few more times (more posts coming). Greatly appreciate any comments!

NCARB 3.1 with NCARB 4.0 Program
Assumed that the Clerestory is located on the north wall of the cafeteria.

Questions:
1) I placed an extra beam the middle of the cafeteria East and West walls since the span is 44'. I know the rule of thumb is not to exceed 40' of spacing between columns. Are the extra columns needed or no?

Thanks!

Looks like the beam on the north side of the cafeteria (1st and 2nd floor) is unnecessary, and the deck is spanning in the wrong direction over the video arcade, servery, etc.
Coach, is that right?
