NCARB VGNT, kindly review ... testing in a week

Hi All,

Would really appreciate any feed back or comment with one question I have with regard the boundaries of metal deck.

where does the metal deck start/stop, i.e. at/to center of wall or edge of wall? and how two adjacent decks meet if one covers all the way to the edge of the wall, while the other kicks off at that edge, meaning it does not bear on the beam. I believe it should span from Center of wall to Center to maintain a bearing on the beam below, right?

lots of thanks

All desk and joist systems are to be located from center to center, whether it's centerline of wall or centerpoint of column.

Draw everything (joists, columns, beams, deck) at centerlines.

Delete common area upper beams at east and west.
Delete common area lower west beam.
Beam missing at west side of covered entry.
Move columns at northeast of shop 2 to northwest corner of shop 2.
Delete beam from shop 2 to west end.
Structural grid is not required. Delete column at northwest of prep and place remaining column near midspan. Delete a column at southernmost wall and place remaining column near midspan.
