Just finished the SS exam 7 pm in Brooklyn. The exam was long.
The most important part of the exam was testing our understanding of basic structural concepts. There were about 20 calculation questions and more than 80 percents of these calculation questions are straight forward. A lot of questions on lateral load.
About 5 questions you had to know history and conventional construction really well.
No turss questions. I had about 30 minutes to go through the marked questions.
Vignette was similar to NCARB sample, maybe slightly more difficult.
Hope this was a pass.
Good luck to you all who are studying the exam.
Special thanks to Coach for having such a great forum!
