David Thaddeus lecture - prep

Postby AggieArchitect04 » Mon Apr 20, 2015 9:56 am

I scheduled to attend one of his lectures in the coming weeks.

For anyone who has attended - what's the best thing for me to do to prepare and get the most out of that?

Thanks!

I didn't take the in person lecture, but I took the online course which is a video of his wknd course.

The best thing you can do to prepare is to make sure you have all of the colored pens/pencils he says to bring. I don't think you need to review anything in particular. If you are really rusty, maybe brush up on your basic concepts like

Moments
Shear
Tension

it wouldn't hurt to read B@R and FEMA before the class. Just to get it fresh in your mind.
