Concrete paving question for Mike.

Postby hnQ_9999 » Wed Jan 28, 2015 8:40 pm

Hello Mike,
I remember seeing from SE drawings concrete paving of
4" thick for public walks and 3" for surface paving, all the time.
I wonder when it come to estimate paving cost, what normally would
people use, 4" or 3" ? I think is better 4", but just want a confirmation.
Thanks.

4" concrete minimum for auto parking and sidewalks. 5" for autos and light trucks (UPS) 6-8" for trucks
Large areas of the country use asphalt not concrete for pavement
