Bldg Layout - first try - please comment

Here is my first stab at the NCARB practice vignette.

Please note that a have a short, extraneous corridor in there. I had some extra space and had to use it. Hope that's ok.

GR view very poor.
No control of main entry.
EM shape poor.
Provide access to entire elevator face.
Keep stair doors at corners.
TS/MP distance weak.
EE should be adjacent to E.
SO/LM distance poor.

Coach, Thank you for the feedback! I have a few questions:

1. At the east stair. I located the "exit to grade" door as close to the back of elevator as possible because I was worried about head clearance. If I put it at the south end the exit door would be under the intermediate landing. So isn't the location where I have it better?

2. I know it's logical that the EE would be close to the E and in real life that's how you would do it but there is nothing in the program that says they need to be near each other. Would I be downgraded (or worse yet, fail) for that?

3. The short corridor by the locker rooms, I think I realized that that is a dead end corridor as it is exactly 20' long. I could change it to 18' long. Then I think it would be ok, right?

4. Without the dead end corridor, would this be a passing solution in your opinion?

Thanks again for your help as I try to finish in 4.0 before the deadline!

Probably not an issue either way.

2. I know it's logical that the EE would be close to the E and in real life that's how you would do it but there is nothing in the program that says they need to be near each other. Would I be downgraded (or worse yet, fail) for that?

Logic IS part of the program. It's an error that could contribute to failing.

3. The short corridor by the locker rooms, I think I realized that that is a dead end corridor as it is exactly 20' long. I could change it to 18' long. Then I think it would be ok, right?

If it's 20' or less it's fine.

4. Without the dead end corridor, would this be a passing solution in your opinion?

Marginal. The other items I pointed out matter and add up.
