IL Alt 1 (Door Clearance Question)

Postby jeff1 » Wed Apr 11, 2018 7:19 pm

Good evening.

Although I would welcome general feedback on the attached, hastily executed interior layout alternate (program info is below), I am most curious to know what the grading policy is for the door clearances that I highlighted. I understand that this is an awkward condition, but would it fail a vignette if the door clearances are technically provided?

Program info for vignette alternate is below.

Thanks.

Doesn't look like north chair on JO round is accessible.

You mean is it a problem if the door clearances overlap? I'd would also like to know.

Pretty sure that's a no no. Open door is obstructing clear path into the adjacent room. Also, check out my post with some door clearance diagrams.

If I were scoring it would fail -- a major error at least. A door and its swing cannot encroach into the CFA of another door.

North RBO chair inaccessible.
Move worktable west.
JO west of T44 inaccessible.
Front of JO desk inaccessible.
North T44 inaccessible.
LCR space between north chair and bookcase looks tight.
