IL first attempt in 5 years

Postby matt » Sun Apr 08, 2018 12:30 pm

Hi all,

I remember little from this exam except that Im always pressed for time. So I'll be practicing. In the mean time please have a look. Any comments are welcome. I'll be looking over other solutions on there to anticipate pitfalls, etc.

Question:

Three feet is required from the 'table to the wall' if one needs to use that chair. Three feet is needed from the 'back of the chair to the wall' if one needs to circulate around that chair. I'm sure this has been asked before so I'll also try to find via search on here.

Thanks

Correct.

CR push side inadequate.
CR cabinet inaccessible.
LCR/SO door conflict.
Northeast T44 inaccessible.
JO desk inaccessible.

Ok.

Not sure why CR cabinet is inaccessible. Its 3' clear space and the 48x48 clear space for the pull side of the door encroaches?

LCR/SO door clearances can overlap but neither can overlap a door swing?

What is T44?

JO desk is inaccessible because 3' clear is needed from 90 degree door swing?

Thanks again this is very helpful

Door itself encroaches and bookcase might.

Obviously a door can move into it's own clearance, but not clearance of another door.

What is T44?

Table for four.

Yep.

Timed in at 55 on this one :x . Going to try to get faster. This is the only layout that I can get to work. I've seen other ones on here but when I try it just goes south. Anyway. I'll keep pushing.

Please have a look to see if I made any mistakes.

Thanks.
