BL First Pass

First pass at BL.
Comments appreciated.

I understand the corridor vestibule at the second floor adjacent to the elevator is not ideal.

Is simply placing one window 4'-6' sufficient in rooms requiring windows?

Hard to see on the compressed screen capture, but there are interior windows at Reception viewing CR door, GR door, and centered on entry doors.

Thanks.

Looks good to me. The two things that I have questions on:

Why is there an alcove to access CR?

Would the stairs exit to grade work? Since the exit passed through mid-landing, will there be enough head clearance in such cases?

It's unnecessary.

Door locations are illogical but the stairs work.

The exterior exit near the east stair is redundant. The stair IS an exit.
TS is not near MP. Door to door distance matters.
Double doors are a waste of time. Egress capacity is not in the scope of this vignette.

Thanks all!

The alcove at CR was to ensure visual control form R. Seemed fussy to me, but that was the reasoning.

Helpful, clarifying comments on stairs functioning as exit doors at 1st Floor and "near" observation w/ TS to MP.

Control may be of either side of the door.
