practicing the interior vignette and it took more than 4 hours to get one decent seemingly workable layout.
kindly please check attached.
a few questions:
1. are there tips for making quicker layout solution? Practice.
2. what is the rule for furniture pieces like secretarial tables, work tables and coffee tables? how many sides should be accessible, ie. the front of the table needs to be opened up to people to come to the tables? No.
They must be usable by the people that work there.

3. can the 48" square be overlapped between two room entrances? Yes. It's just empty space.
4. is 36" enough for the access between JO and LCR as attached? Yes.

many thanks for any help!!
testing tomorrow!!

How do you get from the entry to LCR to the door between LCR and SO? The entire east half of the room is inaccessible.
Coffee table in JO makes the NE chair of the table for four inaccessible/unusable.

want to share some thoughts on making faster layouts. hopefully somebody would find this useful.
for IL:
_draw many many 36" dia, and 5 x 60" circles on the side. so when you need to check dimensions, you can just move them over without having to draw them again and again
_draw out 60" and 48" sqares on the side, for the same reason
_always remember to put RBO label
_use common sense and logic.
for example, the meeting room table is long, and by virtue of its requirement that all chairs have to be accessible, probably this means the meeting room will have to be quite long. then give it a long space - which in itself becomes a clue on the overall layout of where the other rooms should go.

for BL:
_for the rooms that are not mentioned whether they should be on 1F or 2F, always try making them on 1F first, as 2F can always be smaller but not bigger
_also find putting the staircases on the two ends of the corridor useful - basically eliminates the issue of deadend corridor.
