Cut Stair - Fatal Error

Postby dcolwill » Wed Jun 13, 2018 5:47 pm

Anyone know if it is a minor deduction or a fatal error if you do not draw the cut stair twice in the Stair vignette?

I tested the other day and had a great looking Stair Vignette. The only item I screwed up on was drawing the cut stair run twice. I only showed it on the upper level of the vignette. Is that a failing error? Everything else I’m pretty certain was flawless on that vignette.

Makes zero sense why you would have to draw the same stair run twice in the problem, but whatever. Let me know if anyone has insight on this please. Thanks! :?

I showed the landing for the intermediate level and the stair run going to the ground. I just didn’t redraw the cut stair run from the lower level since i already drew it on the upper level. I entered in all the elevation marks as required to show that everything is continuous in the egress stair path.

Well, both halves must be drawn. Probably not fatal but small errors add up.
