Attempts at Ramp - 2 options and questions about landings.

These are two different attempts at the ramp vignette. Please comment, I am slightly confused if I am doing the landings correctly.

Landings:

Per the code " Ramps: #4 Landings" we always need 60" x 60" landings regardless of if we are turning 90 degrees or switchback (full 180 degrees).

Its at the "Maneuvering Clearances" where it distinguishes that the handrails CANNOT encroach for 180 degrees (switchback) and CAN encroach at 90 degrees (dogleg).

For the switchback version does this mean that the circle should be at the middle of the stair to make sure the railing is clear? Or is it fine since a person can turn at the top and bottom of the ramps?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I think you mean middle of landing. Clear circle can be anywhere on landing.

Every 180-degree turn requires a clear turning circle.

Egress narrows at base of stair.
