Stair Vignette 2nd Practice

Postby cuervo383 » Sat Mar 17, 2018 9:34 pm

Hello, taking the vignettes all in a chunk and timing myself this time.
Here's my 2nd stab at the stair vignette.

I decided to draw everything on the 2nd layer since cut stairs were not necessary.
Since Area of Refuge is required, need 48" min width not including handrails, so 48"+4"+4" = 56" wide stair
Top landing is 6' deep to accommodate door clearances
Used 7" risers & 12" treads

Any comments?

Thanks in advance! Testing Monday

I recommend always using cuts.
Hold rails 2" off walls and edges.

Ok on first comment, and for second comment, i asked the same follow up on the ramp vignette, so if you answer it there, i'm good

I used a 3" radius circle and had the railing go up to it. I'm afraid if I draw a 4" circle, and for some reason the railing goes over it by a little bit because of how the program snaps, then im over limit. I thought keeping it within 3" helps me stay in the clear. Thoughts?

Insert rail 3 snaps in or on a 3" radius circle.
