ALL 3 VIGNETTES. PLEASE HELP! FAILED ONCE ALREADY!

Postby bovannu01 » Fri Feb 02, 2018 2:58 pm

Guys,

Please comment on my 3 vignettes.
i wrote down the height/width/depth... of what i drew so that you guys can comment as well.

I got a level 3 on the Stairs vignette (probably because I didn't use cut stair tool) and Level 2 on the Roof vignette. Don't know how i failed the Roof vignette.
But have a few questions:

1. Ramp vignette: Is it OK to not have handrails on the wall shown?

2. Roof vignette. I calculated the low point of the high roof and it comes out to 17'6". However, on NCARB passing solution example, they show 19'0" as the low point of the high roof. How is it possible? Is it considered overbuilt?

Thanks guys!

Why would you need a rail there?

It's a different solution. Look at the high roof ridge.

Stair & ramp
Hold rails 2" off walls and edges.
