Why is upper roof so high?

Delete south rail at 6" landing.
6" landing requires clear turning circle.
No reason to bend rail at bottom of ramp.

I am a little confused now about landing and clear turning circle. In the attached example, the circle is clear except at the point where the railing makes turn. Should we make the landing width wider than 5' to avoid this? Or is this okay as is? Moving the railing turn to the right will decrease railing lengths for the parallel north and south ramps.

Stop landing wall rails at extension.
