3.1 Vignettes - All

Postby eeiliesc » Tue Dec 12, 2017 9:54 am

I'm a little uncertain about the head heights at the stair but I think I left enough clearance for total required width at ground level...

Thanks in advance for feedback!

Stair
Top landing looks small. AOR and CFA must be clear of each other.
Why is 3' landing so large?
Hold rails 2" off walls and edges.

Ramp
Los the gap between stair and ramp.
Hold rails 2" off walls and edges.
Delete zero landing.
Delete north rail at 5.5 landing.
More risers than necessary.

Roof
Why are eaves so high?
Upper roof 9" higher than necessary. (relative to low roof)

Thanks Coach.

The 3' landing accommodates the 12" extension of the railings at the top riser. I see the south one can be behind the CFA, but east has to be maintained as is, correct?

Rail mounted on door wall may encroach.
Looking again:
You used the wrong size CFAs.
Stair looks narrow.
