STAIR 3.1 - PLEASE REVIEW TESTING IN 1 WEEK

Postby boston1 » Sun Dec 10, 2017 2:13 pm

Two questions:

1. Can handrails encroach into the CFA of the doors at all locations? I know they can on the wall, but what about the lower left of my upper landing?

2. I assumed that as long as I provide 1 path to the exit that has adequate headroom my stair can get lower than 80" in other areas? My exit path would run along the top of the room and then to the sidewalk door. I ask because the passing solution in the program only had lower stairs along walls. Can the stair get lower than 80" when not attached to a wall?

Please review and comment as necessary.

Testing in 1 week. Thanks!

No.

Of course. Impossible otherwise.

Yes.

Other than rail in CFA at top, looks good.
