ROOF VIGNETTE FIRST ATTEPT - PLEASE REVIEW

Postby boston1 » Wed Nov 29, 2017 7:24 pm

This is my first try at this. I already saw I left the vent out at the lounge sink. Woops

Question:
1. I cut out the roof around the chimney but it looks like most are just drawing a rectangle covering the chimney Which is correct? I would think you would draw around, but who knows with this thing.

2. I placed downspouts at each end of all gutters (and one in the middle of the west lower edge). Is one adequate for the short runs? Should the be at the very tip of the gutter or in a little from the end?

3. I centered the clerestory in the wall. Is this the correct placement?

Any and all comments appreciated!

Thanks.

Draw over chimney.

2. I placed downspouts at each end of all gutters (and one in the middle of the west lower edge).

One at each end is adequate.

Is one adequate for the short runs?

Yes, 15' or less.

Should the be at the very tip of the gutter or in a little from the end?

Doesn't matter.

3. I centered the clerestory in the wall. Is this the correct placement?

Within the wall, yes. Relative to room (N-S in this case) it doesn't matter as long as it's entirely within programmed room.

Breaking gutter at chimney is unnecessary.
Move pvent closer to middle of fixture cluster.
