RAMP NCARB FIRST ATTEMPT

Postby boston1 » Tue Nov 28, 2017 8:08 pm

First try at this... Does this work? Its a little different than NCARB's passing example with the switchback but it seems to work to me.

Stupid questions on railings:
1. Do you need to break the railings when they transition from horizontal to sloping?
2. Do you need to draw guardrails and handrails separately or just one rail? (i don't see any mention of them but want to make sure).
3. When changing direction,do you just touch the midpoints of the railings or should they overlap?

All landings are 5'-0" square and ramp/stair is 44" wide with each handrail projecting 3".

Thanks in advance!

No.

No.

Butt or overlap.

Top landing doesn't need to project to west.
