Roof Vignette

Postby SLOmustang713 » Fri Oct 20, 2017 2:36 pm

I've solved the roof vignette a few ways - the first time with the gable and hip. But I am solving it here similar to the way NCARB has their solution. My main difference: my lower roof slope is 2:12 not 3:12 like NCARB has shown. Anyone know why they did this? Comments welcome.

Same reason they didn't center the upper ridge -- No logical reason.

Place downspouts at ends. Downspouts at upper west could be construed to be in front of clerestory. Assume the entire programmed wall is intended to be clerestory regardless of how long the yellow line is.
