Stair Vignette - Attempt #1

Postby jswasey » Thu Sep 14, 2017 6:33 pm

Please review and comment on my first attempt at the stair design Vignette. My concerns lie with the width of the landings. Landing at 10'-3" measures 4'-6" square (which is the minimum required by the occupancy load). I think I got the rest of it right though. Thanks is advance for your comments!

Actually, width based on occupant load is 27", which of course, is too narrow. Read entire code.

FYI, only one AOR required. Computer does not evaluate sketch elements so it only matters because you're misinterpreting the code.
Stair is too narrow.
Cut stair missing.
Stop rails at cut lines.
Stop landing wall rails at extensions.
Hold rails 2" off walls and edges.
