Hi!

How does this Sajjad ramp attempt look?

Here is the program.......

ACCESSIBILITY/RAMP VIGNETTE
SUGGESTED TIME: 45 MINUTES

Complete the floor plan shown on the work screen by developing a ramp and stair system in accordance with the given program information. Using the tools provided indicate all ramps, stairs, railings, walls, doors and landings required to complete the plan and indicate all landing elevations.

The completed plan should reflect conformity to program and code requirements and to principles of design logic.

PROGRAM
1. A newly acquired building, which has a finished floor elevation of -2'-0'' below grade, is to be connected to a new Upper Lobby Exit Level at grade elevation 0’-0”.
2. Provide an accessible circulation system with a ramp and a separate monumental stair 8'-0'' wide to connect the existing building to the new Upper Lobby.
3. Place wall(s) and door(s) as necessary on the existing level to separate the Lower Lobby from Upper Lobby.

4. In addition, the ramp and stair must conform to the following restrictions:
• No portion of the ramp or stairs may encroach on the existing upper level.
• Indicate the elevations of all new landings.

Top landing is too small.
With 2 doors entering the space, I would provide a new pair.

Coach - Agreed on having a pair of doors. Quick question...... could you clarify how the upper landing is too small?

I provided the 48" maneuvering clearance for the door and have the required landing with for the stair (8 FT). I must have missed something else. Thank you!!

What about what the ramp requires?
