ALTERNATIVE VIGNETTE AND QUESTIONS, TEST SATURDAY!

Postby ZHAOYANG » Thu May 04, 2017 4:04 pm

Dear all,

Please find my image below for alternative roof and ramp.

Any comments is helpful!

Questions: 1. Do I need flashing in the circle area on roof?

2. Ramp width 5'-0", stair width 44", but I do believe that I can make ramp width 44", because there is enough room for upper landing turning space 5'-0", see my sketch square on top.

My question is do I need whole length of railing on 9.5" level landing, or I can stop it like the red line show, just extend 12".

Yes. However, you should not create a situation where flashing is required between planes within the upper or lower roof. Use gables.

Correct.

Yes.

9.5 landing requires a clear turning circle.
