site grading

First 2 tries at the site grading. How far apart should the points of the swales be? Or is it more of a question as close as possible without overshooting the 2% min. grade?

thanks for any advice.

You definitely want to bring those entry points tight together. I was told that those don't need the 5' separation. Go ahead and make them even tighter than I did below.

I would site the display more in the middle or at least a little further back towards the smoke stack away from the trees.

It is not wrong to rotate the display but better to just drop it in square as it follows the existing grade lines more parallel and therefore is a little less work to regrade. Look at the NCARB example of the passing solution.

In the first example the 110' grade line should wrap around the back of the display and not in front of it.

The second one looks a little better.
