PLEASE REVIEW - Site Grading Vignette Review

Postby BrendanLead » Mon Nov 27, 2017 11:50 am

Hi all. I am taking my SPD exam on Saturday and I would like to spend this week practicing the Vignettes and really getting the software commands down.

If you can, please review my first execution of the site grading vignette.

Also, can you please confirm there is no way to copy/paste sketch elements? I don't remember there being a function for this command.

Thank you!

How did you verify the minimum slope?

No, you cannot copy/paste. Welcome to the 1980's.

That's what I figured but I wanted to confirm I wasn't looking past this function.

Minimum slope was verified using sketch lines on center with the swale but I erased them before posting the example.

Thanks Sparky.

NEVER use sketch circles to verify the minimum slope. If that swale bends around a corner, sketch circles are useless because the distance to be measured is not a straight line.

I used sketch CIRCLES for maximum slope (20%) and sketch LINES for minimum slopes (2%).
