I got a difficult site design vignette - the NCARB example barely prepared me for it. Otherwise, the rest of the exam content is in reach if you study the recommended sources. In the end the hardest part of the ARE in my opinion is starting it - taking the first exam. The next hardest part is keeping pace and momentum. In many ways the exams disappoint because they test not what your expectations are for yourself as a prospective architect. It was helpful for me to keep this in mind as I meandered through the whole lot of exams. Maybe the ARE is a challenge separate from your academic work and by and large not relevant to your professional life. I think you will all get through it if you really want it - for better or worse. Signing off, Apeman.
