Site Design Vignette - comments requested

Postby JohnWaynePain » Wed Sep 20, 2017 12:55 pm

Here's my first try. My main concern is the plaza - would the grading system consider those trees to be shading the plaza from the noonday sun? I have a few trees to kill, I could reshape the plaza so it kills the deciduous trees...

Let me know what else you see, exam tomorrow. Thanks!

Also I see now that the office tower & restaurant aren't 210 ft. apart...

Yes, you have inadequate building separation. Should be 210' clear between buildings.
Only 1 walk to the public walk is required. "minimize paving" is a program requirement.
Walks should not create curb cuts.
5' offset between buildings and drives is violated at the restaurant on 2 sides.
West end of the PP has no winter wind protection.
A walk crossing a drive is not continuous as required and is as safety issue.
