How did you verify the minimum slope?

So the minimum is 2% and max is 20%. I took 1/.2 = 5' max. Sketched a 2'-6" radius circle (5' diameter) to verify the contour spacing to be no more than the circles. The 2% equals 50' so that's not an issue. Does that sound right?

honestly i just watched you tube videos and the "sample passing" solution for the grading on ncarb. everything i saw just stresses the contour spacing and forming swales correctly to direct water, am i being led in the wrong direction?

I don't know what's on the videos, and you didn't answer the question. How do you know you have met the minimum slope requirement? It's not a trick question. Did you do anything to check this requirement?

This is the most common error on the grading vignette.
