Please take a look and see if anyone sees anything wrong with this design... was trying to keep the pedestrian path from having to cross the street like the ncarb solution, so i put the parking to the north and the plaza to the south. thanks

Only 1 walk between the public walk and the PP is needed. "minimize paving" is a program requirement.
Excessive new coniferous trees. All of those near the east end of the PP are redundant. New tree at the NW corner of the restaurant partially blocks the view of the pond from the restaurant.

okay so you think the walk connecting academy street is not needed? the tree near the restaurant was to try and block the service view, no need u think? and you think the trees near the PP are sufficient to block wind, no need for northern trees?

Without that tree, could a person standing on the PP see the north face of the restaurant? If yes, you need the tree. If no, you don't need it.and you think the trees near the PP are sufficient to block wind, no need for northern trees? Distance does not matter.
