Site Design - Attempt 2 (let me have it sparky)

Postby Trevor » Fri Jun 09, 2017 7:15 pm

I'm not sure if about the connection of my west walk to PP or to the restaurant entry, nor am I sure about the connection of the service entry to the road.
Thanks for any feedback.
Regards.

A walk running along the edge of the PP is redundant. The PP can abut parking.
Restaurant does not have to have the entry face the pond. Rotate 90 degrees counter clockwise to reduce the length of the service drive.
Building separation appears inadequate.
Winter wind protection for the PP has gaps.
Reduce the amount of the PP shaded by the OT.

What I wasn't sure about is if the software will recognize those items as being joined.

I measured the building separation from the point of each triangle. There is a sketch circle that just misses the restaurant, it is 210 ft from the OT triangle.

I measured the building separation from the point of each triangle. Why did you do that? There is a sketch circle that just misses the restaurant, it is 210 ft from the OT triangle. That's not what the program asks for.

I see, it's asked for 210 ft. between any point of the two buildings.
Just to confirm, this is the current program everyone is using : https://www.ncarb.org/sites/default/fil ... _Guide.pdf
