SD vignette questions......

Regarding the site design vignette:

1. can a walkway cross a driveway? i've seen it done that way on some solutions posted here, but is that really an acceptable "continuous walkway"?
2. if the program states a building needs to be within a certain distance to something else, does the entire building have to fit within that distance?
3. if a plaza that is supposed to receive noonday summer sun has 1 deciduous tree on the south side, is that ok.....or does it have to be in total sunlight?

2. if the program states a building needs to be within a certain distance to something else, does the entire building have to fit within that distance? Not unless the program specifically says so. In the NCARB example that would be impossible.
3. if a plaza that is supposed to receive noonday summer sun has 1 deciduous tree on the south side, is that ok.....or does it have to be in total sunlight? Not likely to be perfect. Do the best you can.
