qucik question regarding site grading:
If the countr lines do not line up with the property line @ section cut, how do you draw the Grade ? do you continue to the property line as a flat line or take a guess of what it would be? how much can it be off by?
Please help , picture as an example

Go point to point between where the topo lines intersect or touch the section line and then the property line. Do not interpolate.

Also, do not draw the grade line beyond the gridded area.

Also, Ballast and Kaplan are terrible guides for the vignettes. Use them only for MC.

I'm sorry but I don't see how this answers the question. Should the grade line just continue with no slope to the property line or just maintain the slope between the last and next to last topo lines until it ends at the end of the gridded area?

Do you know the year of your practice guide? Vignettes used to require interpolation, but no longer do. If you don't have a topo line crossing the cut line off of your property, leave it as level.
