It's a Pass!

Postby adlibber » Thu Sep 14, 2017 1:20 pm

Retook PPP last Sunday and just found out that I passed! I couldn't understand why I failed the vignette on the first try so I really paid attention this time, to the point of almost running out of time.

Biggest tip is to practice, practice, practice. Especially taking notes. Read Ben Rudgers tips and the vimeo. Also see previous discussions about how angles are measured. I really suspect that is what got me the first time.

Congratulations!! Do you have any advice for the MC? I've failed multiple times because of the MC but never had an issue with the vignette.

Sorry to hear that, greek22.

The scope of the MC tests change with every test so aside from reading the usual references (Jenny's notes, Historic Preservation, Schiff Hardin lectures, and Ballast for me, this go-round) I suggest going through the PPP Ballast Sample Problems and Practice Exam that explains how to get to the answer by process of elimination. I think going through that thought process at least helps to make educated guesses.

Good luck on your next try. You can do it!
