Any thoughts on the best resource for historic preservation material? Word on the street is that there can be quite a bit of this on PPP...one co-worker said she was blindsided by how many preservation questions there were so I'm a bit nervous.
On the ARE Forum FTP site, there are two versions of The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. One is a nicely organized book, but it dates from 1995. The other is printed from their website, is messy and disorganized as hell, but it's more recent. I know NCARB isn't exactly know for asking cutting-edge questions, so is the older version of this sufficient from people's experience? Or could anyone recommend any other material that is worth a read?
