"Snapping" to lines with NCARB software

Postby ukarchi » Thu Oct 17, 2013 2:33 pm

I know that sometimes the NCARB software can be tricky regarding how it "snaps" to lines and intersections. For example, if your building profile line does not snap right on the grade profile line, I know to go one "click" past it. However, I am having trouble when trying to get my sketch lines to snap to the point where the topo crosses the section line- it either goes one click to the left or one to the right, never right at the intersection. Has ayone else had this problem and could they downgrade for this? Testing Monday and could use any insight you might have! Thanks!

I doubt they would downgrade your for their own faulty software. I don't think there is anything to do to correct it besides practicing with the flaws and be within a tick or where you should be.
