Cancelling an exam - possible?

Cancelling an exam - possible?

Postby smpe222 » Thu Jul 20, 2017 10:21 am

I am signed up to take an exam in 4.0, but would like to cancel it so I can then transition to 5.0. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks!

Read the confirmation email that was sent to you. There's an entire sections called "RESCHEDULE / CANCEL POLICY".

The answer is in that paragraph.

Well, that depends on when it's scheduled??...I'd read ncrab's "guidelines".. since it says there.if you tell me the date it's scheduled, we can figure out for you. Otherwise, look it up on the site.

I did look this up before asking, all I can find is a reschedule option and no cancel option. I have it scheduled for Aug. 28.

I don't think they permit cancellations, actually. I am loathe to go on the site and double check, but I believe I looked into it when I scheduled my tests in 2016, and there was basically no turning back. Just fail and lose your money.

You are kind of in a pickle since you could normally reschedule if you were not wanting to transition...Which test do you have scheduled? Hopefully, not SD....If it's SS, BS, or BDCS, at least you get partial credit where with SD, you don't really get any credit...If it makes you feel any better, i wish i WOULDN'T have transitioned...Good luck.
